Taken from the third floor of the Ballast House on the south side of the river liffey Dublin, looking north. O'Connell street is the widest street in Europe. O'Connell bridge was known as Carlisle bridge and the name was changed to O'Connell (not sure of the date I'm afraid).

Very nice, particularly like the fact that rather than going completely across the screen it actually joins with the viewer at the bottom. Well taken.

I think the Champs Elysees is well wider than O'Connell St, however, O'Connell Bridge is unusual in that it is wider than it is long!

Good panorama Paul..... you do seem to get access to some good vantage points! I've been meaning to try a pano of the Quays, but by using "take up thy tripod and walk" method as opposed to rotating the camera. I'll post it here if I ever get around to it!

P.

Hay PAt, how goes it. Took this today at 3pm during a break while doing a management course. I was there yesterday and noticed the view (as you do) so brought me camera with me today. Handheld.
I'll have to look it up now but as far as I understood it is the widest. Ok going to google now.. Paul Smile

This is excellent anyway, but more so when you take moving traffic into account.
