My very elementary attempt at doing a montage. My crocus were so beautiful this year, and they brought me such joy after a long winter.

Beautiful crocuses - lovely montage - great presentation.
Are your crocuses just out now? I thought you'd be ahead of us in temperature.

You've done really well with this Joline, and I imagine that now that you will be considering all sorts of subjects to present in this manner.
I see you have already commented on Pam's upload. She has edged her pictures with a colour and there are no overlapping images - another idea to try. When I first started putting images together in this way, I spent a lot of time looking at images in the Gallery and noting what worked well and what didn't. Once you have started using a grid it will really jump out when you see images that are not aligned well. However - that's just the technical side - the important thing is still to take good photos - "you can never dress mutton up as lamb" comes to mind WinkWinkWink

To IrishKate--- Maine is colder and probably more rugged than all of England and Ireland-- not sure about Scotland---

To Joline: Crocii are a joy whenever they come-- so happy to see things warming up in Bownville--- and what a lot of work you have done on this image

A very well put together montage with the Springtime theme. You certainly have some pretty crucus (crocuses?/croci?). Don't know which is correct but they are very pretty.Wink
