Of all the insects I hate...

... one of them is the earwig!

Along with centipedes they make my skin crawl and my hand flinch away if they get too close or worse still - on my hand!

Fortunately, this one was on a flower head, and was a good few inches from the danger zone (i.e. if it had landed on me, it wouldn't have survived zone...)
