A visit to Spurnhead a couple of weeks ago, (The Reds on tour weekend), was dominated by a vast number of small furry caterpillars which are apparently highly poisonous, and what can only be described as changeable weather.
The morning began with cloudless (boring!) blue skies, we then saw some lovely fluffy clouds scudding across the sky.
This was rapidly followed by dark grey rain clouds, but we had moved on by then.
This morning I decided to splash out on the Photomatix plug-in for CS2, this is the first shot I've produced without the watermarks, and I must admit, I think there is much fun to be had!
Still doing the HDR in CS2 though.

Jon

I think this is fantastic. The composition is excellent and the HDR is spot-on. I love the tone and colours and what a cracking sky, keep doing the HDR as it's great fun wether the shot needs it or not

Great tonality of one of my favourite places; grew up there and experienced the caterpillers first-hand.

Graceland,
Love your modesty, and your mod. Not just a mirror image, so much more, you've really created atmosphere out of the shot.
Thank you
