this time a sculpture same place same day
V2 is taken from the other side, surprising what a difference it makes to the light if you move a few steps in a different direction - there was a lamp post that could have done with a little straightening! but if anybody can please remind me how to do this, in my house move and disruption I have forgotten how to pull the image to straighten the sides (hopefully somebody out there will understand what I am getting at)
Thanks for all c/c's on my previous upload always appreciated - afraid I am scraping the barrel now
must get out with the camera soon - surely![]()

PSE 8 has a 'keystone' distortion correction tool which i frequently use for that reason. I remember this statue - maximum exposure to the public but a nightmare to get an uncluttered shot.

Quote: Lovely captures, depending witch program you use but i like to use the lens correction tool in filter or the warp tool, (select all, Ctrl "t" )
ant.
thank you Zaparo thats what I was looking for ![]()
Hi Ann......a very simple way to correct distortion......with the image open in the 'Editor', hit Ctrl + A to select all the image, then hit 'V' for the 'move-tool, & click on
the top-left corner of the selection & drag it outwards till the verticals are OK, & do the same with the top-right corner........save the new image, & the job's done !!
Very easy, & very quick to do......just an alternative to the built-in programme....hope that helps a bit !!

I find the ShiftN software that you told me about very useful, Ann
A very delightful looking fountain, nicely captured, too. V1 for me, though ![]()

Nice image. My camera fell off the bed and although it landed on carpet it is refusing all requests to perform. Thanks for your comments, Sylvia
V2 for me as it concentrates attention on the sculpture more. To correct distortion in Photoshop I do Select>All then Edit>Free Transform then holding down the command key on my Mac (Control on the PC) pull at the corners individually until the distortion is corrected. By the way, V2 looks great as a mono.
