The other day I had another 'Oh Wow!' moment. I was walking along our back lane and when I looked up this beautiful doe was walking towards me - so I just stood still. She came closer and closer, with me taking photos every now and then. I have put the last shot in the 'mod' section, I wasn't so happy with that one, it seems a bit soft! It's not often I get to see the deer - they usually see me first!

Definitely an "Oh wow" moment, this is gorgeous. I really like how the doe's attention isn't focused on you and alert to you being there. =)

I can see how this is a definite memory shot for you. I also love the mod, OK I know it's soft but it's amazing how it doesn't matter when it captures that illusive moment you want to remember for ever. The sharpener in the brain is better than any on your computer Wink

A very nice capture. I also like the splashes of light coming through the trees. A lovely scene.

Fantastic shot Karen and what great timing. They always run, must be the female touch. Keep watching as the fawns will be born soon

Nice image, you could crop from the top, or make it landscape format,
Fred.

Thanks everyone!
Thank you Fred for the mods. Yes, I can see cropping out the top makes a big difference in the whole shot, I think I prefer the first of your mods, the landscape format puts all the attention on the deer! Smile

Good catch! She's beautiful!

Love the picture you put up in mod's... What a lovely creature! Such a beautiful face. I think the camera focus missed by a tad and it's caught the tree slightly behind her... been there... done that!

I saw my first deer the other day... and a fox sprinting across a field... Was on a train at the time so no shot! A thrill to see though!
