Just a picture to update my Liverpool photographs. This shows the difference in architecture to be seen in the city. At the same time of course, new window business have had to be set up to cope with the amnount of glass now present. You can see window cleaning taking place to the right hand side.

I love the shot Frank, especially the reflection in the glass building on the left. But what about the sky, - looks to me like a lot of colour noise, - but not sure, just doesnt do the rest of the shot justice?
Loaded a mod with colour noise removed from the sky only, - no other changes, - perhaps you can see a difference?

Well Willie we are out in our holiday home at present and so I am using my laptop - on that there seems to be more noise there now than there was before. Perhaps I had better wait until we return home before making a final judgement. However, thanks for taking the time to have a go at it.
Maybe I should consider importing a sky.

Quote: Did you process the shot in software like Topaz? This sometimes creates horrendous noise when I use it.
Not on this occasion Sue. I fiddled about with PSE commands but I cannot remember which or in what order, but no topaz. I have uploaded a mod with an imported sky, I hope this has improvedcit.
Frank
Not sure this is the right sky for the shot, but I can't put my finger on why. Frustrating. Maybe the direction of the light on the clouds doesn't quite match the buildings, but I can't really say why not. I think something less sunny, maybe a bit threatening might work. Don't know. Hope you are having a great holiday! Btw, I love the contrast of old and new in this!
Quote: The colour noise is quite visible on my screen here but it is odd that it should be there. Downsizing for the web may have emphasised it. Did you process the shot in software like Topaz? This sometimes creates horrendous noise when I use it.
Strangely enough Sue, I often use Topaz Adjust just for the noise removal section. I find it better thathe one in PSE9
