This was taken at Run to the Sun in Newquay in 2008. I have a sepia and a colour version of this but I'm not sure which I like the best

Hello, Kate. Love these old camper vans. You obviously like the image and, as a record shot of the vehicle, it's fine. It depends on how far you want to develop your photography skills really. I agree with Frank about it being tight in the frame, and would have preferred a bit more background, preferably in front of the van, and more sky, although this sky is very bland. It looks like the light is behind the van, rendering the side that we see quite dark, with the wheels blending into the grass. I think you would have found a lot more detail was revealed if you had taken this from the other side, and maybe your sky would also have had some detail in it. The alternative would have been to use flash.
