hi all,
first of all, I apologize for not being around in the last ten days or so.
I've been really busy at work, and, this is the exiting news, I had to prepare a collective exhibition (Artistinmostra) which is currently helding in Parma (North of Italy), as side event of the Mercante in Fiera (Merchant at the Fair), a fair dedicated to all sort of antiques.
It is the first time for me that I expose my pictures to the public. So exciting (and somewhat thrilling)!
no need to say, I've chosen only LB pictures to be exposed ![]()
some of the visitors were curious and asked some questions, but I've got the impression that most of them thought I was only a good PS user. ![]()
This one was taken at the exhibition last saturday.
thanks for looking and have a good night
francesco

Standing like soldiers to attention. This is right up my street.
Just an idea - crop off the tablecloth up to the base of the books and I think there's an interesting b&w conversion to be had?
Moira
Wonderful news, your exhibition! Just a shame for us that it is so far away.
And of course, P.S. is the cross we Lensbaby users have to bear ![]()
I like this picture very much but am lost for words. Perhaps it's too late at night!
Regards
Bill
Sorry, I got carried away by the colours, many congratulations on the exhibition!
Moira
thank you Moira and Bill. Hope one day we'll have the chance to meet!
Moira, yes I've considered the crop you suggest, but I prefer the sense of disorder increasing from the tablecloth in fg to the bookshelve in bg, passing through the ordered row of "soldiers".
the light was quite flat, and bnw does not work so well.
I'll try to allow mod, if you want to give it a try ![]()

Nice perspective, like the conformity of the colour tones.. Good news on exhibiting .....
I am soooo very happy this morning after reading your write up
Sorry I couldnt be there ![]()
Many congratulations - love the shot - wonderful rich colours ![]()

Glad to know about your exhibition and congratulation for your success!
The shot is very nice indeed. I like the pov and the colours very much. At a first sight I didn't recognize your style here, but I was attracted by the picture and discovered it was yours.
Take care
Al
Wonderful to hear about your exhibition! And Bill is quite correct: the LB is the cross we must bear......I'm very glad you were out there to educate some people.
An unusual capture - at first I wasn't sure what I was looking at, and that is the beauty of this one - I had to stop and look, then admire the colours and a superb pov and composition.
