The "wild day lily" or Hemerocallis fulva blooms in abundance this time of year. I don't know how it got here originally, but it is a native of Asia. It is so prolific now in the US and Canada that most people think of it as a native wild flower. Regardless of its history it is a beautiful sight along the roadways and fields, and is still one of my favorites.

A beautiful lily, Joline, and one that we see growing here, too. A lovely capture. Carol

Lovely close-up, Joline. I love lilies. It could be any type...even common ones here like spider lilies which you find all over the place. Every time I see them I enjoy them.
