Lovely composition, Dougie. I wonder what it was like in colour? White sky and flat light perhaps?

Nicely composed and quite busy with all the little boats out too.
Went to Tanera Mhor in the Summer Isles a few years ago, sadly now see it is up for sale - oh to have money Smile.

There's something very formal, organised about the boats, all sitting in a tidy straight line. Against a much bigger line-up in the background.

Looking at the distant Isles, it would appear to be a very hazy day, Dougie, so b&w brings out the very best from what is not the ideal photographic light. Saying that, it does give a distinctive effect.
