Looking through old files and came across this one from a couple of years ago .A very wet day on Mull . I was trying to photograph a pair of otters that were here. Many thanks for recent clicks and comments .All very much appreciated...Phil
They are still there Phil, I think they have been left for all the photographers, I saw the Otters there on two occasions, but only tiny with binoculars, too far away for the camera, the yellow seaweed makes for interesting photography, great capture!
A very strong composition, one which fills ones heart with sorrow, dying relics of a once thriving industry.
It is John Wannop who seems to nail the Mull otters
Hard to believe that these boats have been left to decay
ECC rules I suppose - not worth turning out in them
Love the detail you've captured in the boats, Phil
Organic, returning to nature.
Sad but beautiful, a lovely shot.
A fine composition and presentation, Phil. Carol
These decaying hulls make such interesting subjects.
Think they need a lick of paint! A very fine shot, Phil, despite the dull weather - some nice reflections, too...
Ooooo...cracking shot !!!......what wonderful subject-matter !!!
