old master

I get to cover some odd stuff sportswise, and the rugby league masters is right up there. The idea has come over from New Zealand, the plan is that "older" players can still get involved in the marvelous sport that is rugby league. The players must be over 35 and wear shorts to denote their age band, 35-40 is white, 40-50 is black, 50-59 is red and 60 (yes over 60) is gold, and tacklng rules are modified to take age into account, after all you dont want a 38 year old super league pro like Barry McDermott flattening a 65 year old grandad!
