I fully agree with Nathan.
Excellent portrait Albert,
A superb portrait with excellent processing!
Quite extraordinary, in so many ways. Let's do the time warp again...
So full of character! A great result both of your original photography plus processing.
A excellent portrait shot .
Great portrait! I love the processing and toning
He's certainly got his best togs on.
The treatment suits the subject here Albert.
Reminds me of Alex Harvey's The Boston Tea party
Perhaps something to do with the line about mountain men
A lovely portrait Albert with good eye contact.
Like the processing Albert a great shot!
Glad to make it 30 Albert, great image.
Not sure I could keep a steady hand with the shotgun in his hand...
Interesting character! Beautifully done this portrait.... IB
PS: As for your question if the figs will rippen, I don't think so in the UK and in the open air like Holland park... It's a little too cold.
In Portugal where I was born they explained to me that all fig trees need to be given an "insert "of a particular row of wild figs in the tree bark so they will fruit better with the use of a very small insect that then occupies the tree and makes it produce sweet eddible fruit. If you have them in a orchand the insect jumps from one to another and does the job. If you have just one single fig tree it has to be introduced. It's called giving the "toque" to your tree rendering it with the ingredient to produce good figs. The other job is done by the sunshine...
Ah, I see what you mean about our bearded gentlemen! Yours appearing to be from a slightly different time - well captured character here.
A brilliant portrait
A superb portrait, Albert, fantastic character, full of detail and intrigue, brilliant my friend.
Many thanks to everyone who have looked, voted and commented. In particular a big thank you to Lillian for her User Award.
This is very special, love what you have done with it, such a colourful character, even though in black and white.
