They are all excellent takes of these two men but, V1 has a different quality in terms of the story. There seems to be a confession, some sort of confidence between them. V1's crop is perfect as we can see all kinds of vegetables (that must be very colorful) presented in a great "X" composition. The more I see, the more I like it! Smile

All super captures but V1 is my very favourite. There appears to be a heated discussion going on between these men........Sandy

What a beautiful observation. We get a real impression of the market and the people within it - all knowing each other and discussing the ways of the world together.

"Putting the world to rights" discreetly observed from an excellent pov. So much atmosphere! The toned mono is perfect.

All good, but V1 my favourite, it centres the men nicely among the boxes of fruit. Lovely expressive body language in the three main characters, and the elevated viewpoint gives an objective, analytical feel that I enjoy.

A wonderfully well observed set of images, telling a story or two!
I never thought about an X composition before Potra's comment
and I see what she means - everything radiating from a 'central'point.
Good idea as we take in life from all corners.
Works well in mono although the colour version would be great to see also.

V1 is definitely the better. The diagonal composition makes a stronger image and the interesting relationship between the men is more interesting

The diagonal alignment of the men in a square crop makes v1 an excellent composition for me, but three well seen images, Nezih.

Excellent documentary and travelogue shots from the market place, Nezih.
These characters may be old but there's an ageless quality to the images the way you have presented them.
