Went for a walk yesterday along a path by where I live, and the path was verry wet after all the rain we've had.
I really like this old wooden gate ,I uploaded one of it in snow recently.
V1-----Old Wooden Gate
v1 for me,Netta, the colour shows the lovely tones and lichen of the old gate so much better. Maybe would have cloned out the distracting 'waymark' signs.
A splendid image Netta. I agree with Dave in that the colour version is better
Nice. Although the gate is shut yet my eye moves beyond it.
Great textures and colour on the old gate, both good images but V1works for me.
I love V1 in colour Netta !! Lovely scene
Colour does pick out all the tones that are lost in the mono version Netta, good capture!
Lovely pictures, Netta!
V1 and colour for me today!
There is something quite special about gates, we as photographers will always have a couple tucked away...
That certainly is a great wooden gate, Netta. So full of character. I'm with Dave on how the colour works better 'cos it captures all the fascinating hues.
Wonderful old gate with all it's well worn tones and leading into the unknown.
Think the mono is quite good too but I'd clone out the sign post.
Like the coloured version of this interesting shot Netta.
Version 1 for me as well.
one for me also Netta, you would think people would shut it behind them! the gates I see left open, nice shot good colours, regards Leon.
Lovely,v1 for me!
V1 really shows the different textures
