OK it's not world beating photography, but it is a personal moment in history which I will not be able to repeat. I took loads of snaps, and some will feature for curiosity's sake in the coming days, but this was the moment when the torch came past in Middlesbrough. I was proud to be there yesterday evening with so many happy people.

Oh and what a great and friendly job the police did (in very considerable numbers!)

Mike

Great image Mike, and I'm glad you enjoyed the moment! Not easy to get, but as you say the police (and also the flanking runners) have been brilliant.

I think this is one helluva capture, Mike. A brilliant action shot and look at the expression on the runner's face! VERY well recorded, this SmileSmile
