Capture of my first camera, the vintage Olympus OM-2n SLR film camera, circa 1977, with the dust seen on & around the top-seated dials. Photograph was taken in March 2003 by my first digital camera, the 3.2 MP Toshiba PDR 3310 digicam. Hope that it "may bring back some fond memories of your past SLR film photography." Regards...Peter Settings: focal length 35 mm ISO 120 f 6.8 ss 1/582 second

Good morning Peter, yes I remember the Olympus cameras well, I had an OM 10 years ago, never quite reached the dizzy heights of the OM 2, great shot, thanks for the memories.

I never used anything like this - first digi about 3 years ago for fun but got sort of hooked and sort of moved on slowly from there. I wish I had used some such camera though - I think understanding the principles might have been easier if I had gone through the "proper" film learning curve, if you see what I mean.
Lovely capture of a vintage piece. Great POV (dust and all!)

Super shot Peter, have'nt seen one of these before, love the big lens.
Ricky.
Sorry, Ray,.. about the loss of your Olympus OM-2n. I still have mine & I will "never" part with it(still in "pristine" condition). In fact, I pulled it out of the drawer, yesterday, dusted it off, and probably will do a photoshoot with it in a few days with some fast 800 film. Appreciate your comment on my image, & wishing to see more of your work on EPZ. Regards...Peter
It brings back not only memories, it still brings back my film camera because i decided some days ago to start again with film instead of digi...I can’t wait to see the new glamour of the pics!
Cheers,
gabriel
