Back to an IR image from last summer that I just got around to converting. Note this is true IR from a converted old camera.
One thing I love is the deep dark shadow areas, caused by no IR reflectance to me adds depth & a surreal mystical quality.
I had been disappointed with the results until I ditched my old mono workflow and tried a few different things.
nice work .rob
Good work,well done,
Great image. I like the way the soft foreground contrasts with the moody sky
What a dream sequence! great work!
This works particularly well in IR. The grasses look as soft as feathers and there's just enough hard black to give the image a bit of bite.
I am so pleased to see this--an example of what IR is supposed to look like--- I have been tempted to use some conversion filters, --not too pleased with the results, but this is marvelous-- I especially like what happened to the fg grasses!
Beautiful, I love the IR, finishes it off a treat.
Love the feel of the soft swaying grass, feels like a wonderful walk up to the house............Sandy
Really like this Nick
Love it, Nick....especially that soft, feathery looking swaying grass
The IR really works here Nick, lots of swaying grass/corn or whatever it is,a good lead in right to the back too.
Works a treat, the foreground is simply superb.
Thanks everyone I've been surprised how well this has done being IR.
Super foreground, you can really feel the movement in the crop, strong lead into building/tree and a good sky, a cracking image
Excellent IR processing and image. Really like the lines in the corn leading the eye and the sway adds a lovely softness to the image.
