Looks like its working very well Theresa.

Nice shot overall, - good decision to use +1, - but the MODE you used is not there in the exif data. I mention that only because if you used Manual, then +1 wont make a difference.

The Swan was clearly moving, and though its reasonably sharp, it doesnt have critical sharpness, - and I assume is due to movement. So perhaps a faster shutter by using ISO 200, and combined with a smaller aperture for a greater dof. You can see that most of the dof lies between the camera and the Swan, so the Swan is on the edge of the dof too.

Youll love the lens, - and Im sure we will see more from it.

I tend to shoot av mode I'm not at my lap top to check at the moment though as I'm at work Smile
Thanks for the tips, yes this is my gave lens so far, had some lovely shots from it.
