This was a nice suprise from the crop, of course I want to get closer still, with the Big Mama, If I can ever get one, just wish Sigma would do that 150/500 in 4/3, I would get my shot then...seen the big Mama review here, and not sure...This shot is a Jpeg, will get a Raw of this one next time with the 70/300, more to work with just a few curves here and cropped, sized to EPZ, at the imaging stage, so nothing lost really here this is what the 70/300 can produce, that is just for interested people of course, great shot was a joy to see it on the monitor I assure you.

Thanks for looking in again.

Chen.

Nice ideas here for the final print Colin, thanks for doing it so quickly, will use some of your tonings for sure. The cam was set on sportsmode and a little panning, the E620 shoots at 4fps, I had a few to choose from.
Thanks Chen.

You have certainly captured the excitement on the faces and I like the diagonal composition. I have done a mod with a levels adjustment to add contrast, then a little sharpening and finally added a different sky. I hope you like it. Andy

Yes Andy, like it very much, thanks for the kind interest, I just wish I had a RAW shot of this one, but can catch it again easily, as I shot from this spot, for three years now, and getting familiar with this subject, it is just the sun, gets in the way in summer, at the time I can shoot it, need to take a real afternoon out now that I know that the shot is with in my grasp, sure you realise just what I am after here, so will ,watch, and wait, and snap..... Thanks Chen.

I've done you a couple of mods Chen
A serious suggestion with the crop to give a bit of space in front of them, but then for #2 I thought it might be fun to erase a few bits too Smile
