One of the many (hundreds) of images I took yesterday at the British Wildlife Centre in the company of epzers Lillian, Val Saxby, Trev (achieverswales), Fred (BadgerFred) and new epzer Bob (BobHowell2012). I think we all agreed we had a wonderful day there - and thanks to Lillian for organising it for us. It was fun to meet up with everybody for the first time.
I have so many images to sort through, but this one jumped out as a candidate for my first.
Thanks for looking - comments and criticisms are very welcome.
Ann
PS: sorry there are no shadows for the Shadowy Saturday people!

Jumps off the screen, Ann. If you ask me, this is well worthy of an award or three. Great capture.

This is stunning Ann, being there I know how hard it was to capture this as he was so nervous, the eye's have it, if the rest are like this we are in for a treat, it was nice to meet you all yesterday and the weather was great, perhaps we will meet again on another outing.
Regards
Trev.
Fantastic shot Ann, superb detail and colours, quite outstanding

Sharp-eyed capture, Ann. Looks like it was a very productive day.

This is magnificent, Ann. I love the way you have gone in close, filled the frame, while the relatively wide aperture focuses attention on the things that matter. Eyes, ears, nose, this is about acuteness of the senses. Just a minor quibble - I wish you hadn't cut off the tips of the ears, we lose the sense of them quivering!

Pleased to make it 30 Ann, beaufiful shot, like eye contact,
Fred.
Crisp and clean, the epitome of the country fox, the urban variety is much grubbier.
A wonderful colourful image which shows off the fox like it should be.

The first thing that struck me about this picture is the colour, and then the detail in the Face.
Great shot Ann, hope to see many more from the Day.

A fantastic fox portrait, the colours, clarity and detail are flawless. One of your very best images IMHO
