This is really cool. I love the texture you added and the quite original setting. Elke
I like it, the treatment is effective.
Unusual and innovative. Good shot
Nice lighting here, like the low key effect and the off set composition. Deserves more attention.
this has quite an impact, I like it
interesting effect..certainly different
Now that's different, very nice results and well worth avoiding watching TV too.
this is fabulous i think..very original treatment and a very well composed and shot starting picture.
Class in every way.
Time well spent.
time well spent indeed , nicely done
good image, a tad too dark? despite that great colours and good pose. click
Thanks all. I'm debating the light/dark thing, I'm not sure my monitor is the best!
Fascinating picture Julia and love to see things like this. It's always difficult with pictures that are by their nature dark as they will inevitably be near invisible on some monitors. Looks mysteriously dark on my computer so works well.
JB, picked up on the monitor. I have a true brite screen and normally the image comes trhough in great detail and bright.
May be you should inquire about calibrating your monitor. Some also take time to warm up before they display the right colours.
May be the old monitor is a blessing in disguise as I really like the image. Btw your other images do not seem too dark to me, so it is this one image and the way you chose the lighting.
Mike you could be right, I've been suspicious that some of my images are too bright before and so went darker on this one. It seems to depend where I am in the room as to how bright the image appears on the screen. Perhaps i'll give up the paranoia! Thank you very much for the help. Julia
your statement "it seems to depend on where I am in the room", makes me wonder how you ps your images. I would expect you sitting in front of the computer. However if you do ps-ing on a laptop then the remark is spot on and there is a lot of difference whether you have a light reflected onto the screen or that the lightsource is actually in font of you. In that case the images on the screen appear a bit darker. Best is to choose the same place to work from to get consistency.
Very interesting picture, caused a good reaction.
I want to thank you for your comments on my last picture which to my surprise received HC!
Very very different. Nice work..Phil
