Flower photography is not my forte but I could not resist photographing this day lily to prolong its life beyond the 24 hours that it is in bloom.

Update on yesterday's image: Chris (SlowSong) was correct it was on a Narrow Boat (actually called Captain Custard moored on the Kennet and Avon Canal at Hungerford). The answer that I had in mind for the the riddle was Shark Infested Custard as stated by RonnieAG but I am very impressed by some of the other answers which are equally as relevant.
