Hey, people Smile

Here’s a sky from an evening walk from last week. I started briskwalking recently and I carry my A430 in a little bumbag in case I spot anything picworthy along the way. The walking (with some stairclimbing) is ‘cos I was diagnosed with Type II diabetes earlier this year. First time I’ve been on meds and I intend to kick them completely. From twice a day to once a day then none at all. That’s the plan and it shall be done Wink

The sky is a bit noisy and the pic wasn’t too sharp to begin with for 2 reasons. One, it was taken with ISO at Auto and it was in low light. Two, the A430 doesn’t have IS or VR or anything. Anyway, I liked those rays and the pic didn’t turn out too bad so I thought I’d share the sky with you all Smile

Andrew

The birds are the stars, they add life and movement and joy.
So sorry to hear about your diagnosis - go cautiously in ditching medication, go very cautiously... There are things that we can control with the mind but not everything.

Beam me up Scottie Tongue, wondeful sky, Andrew, and the birds complete the picture.

The first-line treatment for type 2 diabetes is diet, weight control and physical activity. Medication usually comes in if this fails to control the blood sugar levels. Looks like you're on top of things already.

What an amazing sky, well observed and captured. If this were mine (I wish) I would have adjusted it to get that pole bottom right vertical, or got rid of it, but I am a terrible nit picker!

Thoughts and prayers are with you Andrew. I look forward to hearing that you have overcome things, but do heed Moira's caution and make sure that you work with your medical support as well as your beaming willpower!
