I was out at Lake of Menteith yesterday to cover the start of the fishing season there.

This guy caught 3 fish in 3 casts as I was watching from the shore.

One of my fishing pictures from last year has been included in the Lake of Menteith Fisheries 2008 brochure as well Smile

1/500th sec @ f4.5.

Thanks,

Paul

Thanks Dougie, Alan, Ness, Julie, Ted and Tim.

Ted, it is a blob on the top dropper. This is probably gobblegygook to most folk on here Smile

A blob is a fly made from a synthetic material which can be dyed in various colours. It is wound around a hook to make a fat blob shape. You can see an orange one below the rod tip.

Here endeth the fishing lesson for today. Smile
