Back to the KS studio for today's offering and again I have deliberately avoided application of a frame.........subject courtesy of Morrison's Supermarket floral counter ( 5 stems for £1.50 ).

My thanks to all for the kind comments on Sweet Dreams and to Ann {pluckyfully} for her User Award which is greatly appreciated.
I do appreciate any comment that highlights a defect either in capture or post-capture processing, you may be assured of that.

a very beautiful gladiola.. sublime colours. Now I can't decie whether I prefer the one a week (?) ago in deep velvety purple or this one.

I so like the image without a frame. Fading into the background does not work for all images but my goodness this one works a treat.

Can't fault this one, Ronnie. Amazing quality. The diagonal aspect, 'fade out' of the stem, and the black on black are very well done, but the exposure and colour are sublime. Excellent work.
