Spotted this orange rope and rusty D shackle on a boat yesterday, not the most exciting image but it appeals to me Smile

fine bold orange colour against the black and fine tones in the grott of the rust light setting off the whole image great texture in all items

eye catching and great contrasting colours

the most appealing thing is that it is completely rotten but still working.. thats what the oblique angle and mild strain on rope suggests.

The rope goes very well with the dark rust, I thought from the thumbnail it was a rusty wire rope!
