outstanding. Beautiful, distraction-free background, bit of behaviour, and they're both in focus from eye to wingtip. And the light coming through the wings just gives it that little bit extra. Well done.

Lovely Julian! Well you got your wish in the end and a cracker of a shot to add to it...

I must say I prefer this rotated to make them upright, personal taste only, but the clarity and the backlighting are spot on.

Oh come on now you're just taking the P***s!

Mating Pair, on Bluebells and then Backlighting thrown in for good measure! I'll wave the white flag now. Can't better that!

I can see where Tim is coming from re rotating the image 90 degrees. I think the butterflies would look better in that orientation maybe but then the Bluebells would be the wrong way round. Perhaps they don't get Bluebells in France Wink

Thanks guys. Yes I did actually do a rotation and it looked better balanced that way but as you said John, when taking the p--s it's better to make the bluebells dangle.....
