Concave artworks on a wall in Oslo. My brain tells me it is convex, although I know quite well it is concave . . . stupid brain.

One would have to see this to believe it is concave!!!
Fascinating.

Looks convex to me as well, can't see it as concave.
Well captured image.

Haunting and mysterious, designed to confuse the eyes (the artwork, I mean).

I want to go back, we missed these. In the modern development by the water front? Extraordinarily beautiful and haunting.

I love these optical conundrums. Unfortunately they're hard to illustrate in a photo. I'm trying hard to see it. Smile

Can't see that these are concave either!

Where in Oslo are these, Kurt?

The are in (I think I have the name of the road correct) Standen which runs along the waterside. There are several on the walls, but you have to walk towards a bar before you can see them. If you look at the shadows on the wall, it will show that an optical illusion is happening because the shadows on the actual faces appear to be the wrong side. I will put up an angled view tomorrow.
