Hi all,
This is an Osprey from Rothiemurchus. When we went to check out the fish farm out on the evening before the morning, Keith (the guide) asked us if we wanted to stay for a while because he was showing the boss' son the hides and the weather probably wouldn't be very good on the following morning (and he was right). So this is a shot from that afternoon.
The morning was a large disappointment as all the birds came while the lighting wasn't very good so a lll my shots to come will be from that afternoon.

An excellent capture.
I went to our local RSPB reserve Arne in Dorset as the Osprey regularly visits on his way up north. He was on the reserve but I didn't see it. I should have checked the tide tables before i started out as the tide was out and the channel where he usually fishes was just mud flats.
Never mind. Better luck next time.
