These images were taken at Powis Castle, a National Trust property, near Welshpool a few weeks ago - on a sunny day!!
V2 is the cropped original.

The original is a fine bird's eye view of this symmetrical bloom, beautifully captured, Richard, the detail impressive, and exposure spot on.
And it lends itself so well to the V 1 presentation, setting it against the black b/g, making the flower stand out as if in 3D, and with all possible visual distractions eliminated.
Very nicely done.
