Another view of Osterley Park, in the London Borough of Hounslow.
It was designed by Robert Adam in the 1760s.
This was taken with my back to the beautiful parkland at the rear of the property.
The doorway under the main door is a sort of 'grotto'.
Many appreciative thanks for all clicks and comments on my 'On Reflection, it's a Female Mallard!' upload!Smile
And a special thank you to Kurt(KurtSkeels) for User Award for my Rolls Royce upload!SmileSmile
Have a lovely Sunday!
Richard

Perfect symmetry with the open gates just inviting one in, Richard: a beautifully maintained Adam property.

Nice image I've seen it with the gates closed and that would spoile the image.Smile

Excellent composition Richard and I too like gates to be open so you feel welcome. I sometimes open them, take my shot, and then close them again. Wink

A perfectly captured architectural study, with both the horizontals and vertical perspectives working as they should Richard. The image is very well composed and exposed with wonderful natural colour and clarity in depth.

A great example of architectural photography.
