Good Morning,

Another from the train trip, and this is taken nearer to Otford. The sheds on stilts I believe are hen houses. For the record taken at approx 60mph.Any apparent oof is in fact going to be motion blur, although with the aid of Mari and being wedged between the window sash I certainly tried to remain as motionless as possible.

Camera hand held and yes I urge large and for window users f11 and ctrl+ ..... for mac user large and cmd+

Many thanks for the comment and votes on West Malling Silhouette , and indeed a few other images , all votes and comment are gratefully received and truly appreciated.

Good morning, Colin.
This is a lovely image and all the more spectacular considering your hastily moving platform. I like the contrast between the shadowed f/g and the bright colourful sky which has a Turneresque quality to it. Very well captured.
Regards, Ronnie.

Morning Colin

Beautiful image, great sky captured, well done indeed as taken on the move again !!

Hope your having a couple of Hot drinks with something strong added to help you sleep tonight - I have.

love it, excellent sky, perhaps needs some of the foreground cropped and the contrast wound up in the middle distance?

Hi Mick , I did try to as yet to master layers .... the min I "beefed up" the middle the sn showed as white ! As for the fg I have to admit I like the understated look to it as it (for me ) allows the eye to immediately go to that sky Smile Colin

Watcha Colin,
I know what you mean, PS is a headache, it gets easier each time you get to master a new trickSmile after you lassoo your m distance and make you levels layer to do whatever your doing, make sure you have black and white as your FG/BG, click on the brush tool, use about 100 soft brush with an opacity of about 20% and dab at burnt out highlights till you're back to where you want them, it works. However, it's your pic, how you want it is how you want it, and that's what's important.
best
Mick

thanks Colin; however, I would say it's different, not neccessarilly better, eye of the beholder stuff. It had to be done quickly, and with low res, some of the trees are too black against the sky and there is some haloing around the top of the trees.
