Caught this Hover- fly ..............Helophilus pendulus just about to fly off of a Cornflower.

What an absolutely stunning macro capture, Brian. Terrific clarity and razor sharp. The blue of the Cornflower is absolutely divine against the contrast of the clean acidic green bg tones. The Hoverfly detail, colours, textures and wing translucency are pure perfection.
