Another from Marwell Zoo, this Tamarin monkey was hiding right at the back of his / her enclosure. To be totally honest I had forgotten to change the settings on my camera and had actually intended to use flash, so I was totally surprised to get anything SmileSmileSmile Anyway I sure this will not be to everyone's taste but for me it has something, a happy accident I guess you could call it Smile

Thank you all so much for all your C&C's very much appreciated

Thanks for taking the time to look

Hugh

I know this little guy, Hugh. Your shot makes him look more mysterious than he really is. Great!

Yes, the golden hue is interesting.. You should have quizzed to see if anyone could guess what it was.
I might have cropped some of the bottom black..Wink

A wonderful accident, and a strange quite disturbing image.

I think this is sooo much better than it would likely have been with the flash. A happy accident perhaps, but also a really good photo.

Looks like a Golden Lion Tamarin (aka Golden Marmoset), and a lovely sumptuous gold against the blacks it is too.

Works for me, monkey peering out of the darkness. Also makes a good minimal abstract. Play about with the cropping, see if you find anything you prefer.
