Looking towards the town of Ingleton, as seen from Twisleton Scar in North Yorkshire. Another from a lovely morning out on Saturday, trying to forget the expense of the day before - paying for the car to be serviced and repaired Sad

Cheers for all your comments & votes on yesterdays, really happy with the response it got ... thanks.

Paul

This is the 4th very impressive photo from this location, great ingredients in there, frost, tree, rocks, big sky but I was hoping to see something where the tree has a bit more seperation from the land i.e. the tree is above the horizon and more dominant in the composition, not lost in the background.
Your first of the four came closest for me and is my favourite.
I suppose it's difficult to know what was possible without being there Smile

You are rich - you can afford the car bill.

I like the cloud formation mirroring the pavement

Fair point Rob, but I couldn't get the limestone & grasses in the fg to work as well as this by moving left a little, so I suppose a compromise was in order. Whether I made the right choice or not is down to you lot I suppose, but thanks very much for your comment.

My flexible friend Roy ... technically I've still not paid for it yet Wink

Thanks all,
Paul

Know how you feel mate, had mine serviced between Xmas and New Year & then there was the car tax and the insurance to do too! Why I bought a car at the beginning of January I'll never know!! lol
