Another from yesterday's horse trials at Blair Atholl.
I have to admit it wasn't easy to get a really good image
with so many people, dogs and impediments in the way.
Maybe that's just my inability to position myself well
or as WhiteRose1 suggested taking photo from lower position.
This image has been cleared of everything I didn't want!
Thank you all for votes, comments and crits for Your Tail Goes Swish
and to achieverswales for his judges opinion.
Kate

Beautifully timed Kate, and so beautifully captured, a great composition in which you have captured the expressions of both horse and rider.

Another great action shot. I like you point of view which in most cases should be taken at
the level of the subject. I admire how you get good detail. I have 8 shots a second with
my Canon EOS 7D but never tried itTongue Well done. WesternRed.

A very good action shot, just caught the moment well.
Now I assume you're going to use this for one of the Club competitions.
If so i would seriously think about cloning out the red post on the left. I know it's an integral part of the horse competition but from an aesthetic pov it does draw the eye away from the horse & rider. Just the sort of thing some judge will comment on & downmark the image.
Adrian.
