Wow, it's been quite a while since my last photo uploads here.

My parents and I are currently on a spring break vacation in Washington DC. We came here for a wedding in North Carolina, but we spent a few days in Washington DC first before the wedding. We went to the Smithsonian National Zoo for a whole day, in which I got quite a few photos. Here was one of the first. All of these zoo photos I post will probably be very noisy, but I had to use an auto-ISO because the lighting was so bad. I also edited a bit to make the photos a bit brighter, as they were still very dark.

This is a barred owl (I think!). If you know what kind of owl this is, please comment!

Beautifully caught (though I think if you had turned the camera on its side you would have captured a little more of the owl) - the details are wonderful, as Sandy has pointed out, he has gorgeous eyes. Smile
