Taken near Banbury in Oxfordshire.

This is an old one but I've noticed that one or two fields here on the south Warwickshire borders are starting to bloom bright yellow.

Your fields are full of rape, Sandra, and ours, just as yellow, are covered with oxalis. Perfectly captured. Carol

Lovely shot Sandra, the rape must have come on really fast since last week or so! I was up that way then.

The oil seed rape makes quite a dramatic statement across the countryside: nicely composed image, Sandra, and ever so eye catching even as a thumbnail.
Ronnie.

The yellow fields make for a very striking image, Sandra, but you've got an excellent composition as well, to make a great image.

I love the composition and the boldness of the yellow rape Sandra. Even up here in the chilly (!) NE there is some colour appearing in some of the fields - am I right in feeling that like everything else it's a bit early?

A beautiful country scene, lovely colours and comp. The oilseed rape certainly is early this year, there is quite a lot in bloom already

How wonderful this is !! Not easy to capture these yellow fields ! Oil seed rape is a joy to see whilst driving along but frustrating when there is nowhere to stop !!!! The tress and house give a great perspective. GrinGrinGrin
