Maybe a longer exposure would have been better.... tried lots of different techniques but this landscape photography is harder than you might think! Smile

As you say a longer exposure might help, it would for me as I love to see the sharp detail offset against the slow/smooth water. That said, I do like the short focal depth here Helena.

Nice composition and some really good colour. A longer exposure and a smaller f-stop with the camera mounted on a tripod would enable you to keep the detail sharp right through the image.
