Erythronium 'Pagoda' which grows happily in a big container in my garden.
The more common name is 'Dog's Tooth Violet'...I prefer Pagoda Wink
Really went for the painterly look to this one,a couple of textures added & blended in Photoshop.
I'm sorely tempted to get the watercolours out & paint this pretty little flower for real,still...one for the printer methinks.
Such a beautiful shape & colour.
This one was lit by daylight...the water drops are real...I had just given them a nice long drink Wink

Thanks for taking time out to have a look.
Janet xx

Thanks everyone.

Quote: very light and airy

Yeah...right !!!!...I do try very hard to keep stuff light & pretty & pastel & all that malarky but...the darker side always creeps in somewhere Wink ( especially in a confined space in an old building with a busted loo Wink Wink )

Another truly inspirational image. It's a great shape for working on....I might just go and have a poke round the garden this weekend. I hope you enjoy your long weekend, if you get one.
Best wishes

Just spotted this little beauty as the E2 Photo. Processed so well but of course as great image to start with, obviously! One of my favourite Springtime flowers. Mine are in full bloom in the garden and a joy to see.
