A big hello to all my friends.
Now in this photo I have been playing with light I got this idea from this month’s digital photo magazine this is quite easy to do. Ok I will tell you how to it. You need your SLR camera is set on a tripod you will need a wine glass I have used food colourant a little drop in water will do this not too much. You need to set your camera to f11 and a shutter speed of 4 seconds and a torch a mini magilte is ok for this because you will need to unscrews the top of the torch to get light Trail around the grass and don’t forget to the photographs in total darkness. You will need to focus on the grass with your kitchen light ON once you have got your focus go to manual focus this will lock it down then turned the kitchen light OFF then use your torch OK now you will need to take various photographs of the glass at different angles once you have done this you will need to open them all up in photo shop and decide on which ones you are going to use and combinig the images together I am sorry I cannot tell you everything because you end up as good as me lol lol this is the basis of how to do this type of photograph…….
So have fun juniors hope to see some of your photos. Working with lights.
I have someone wacky idea for this sort picture for the future lol
If any of you do have this month’s august issue of digital photo magazine you will see one of my images it in the CD gallery it’s the image of me holding a camera coming out of a picture frame, it’s what they call out of bounds affect. This photo is in my portfolio
Thanks for looking
james

A gorgeous image - I love the colours and lighting effect. Perhaps a tiny clockwise rotation (to make the glass perfectly level) would be an improvement - but then again, perhaps you wanted it tilted slightly! ![]()
Congratulations on being in the magazine, quite an achievement!
