A very strong composition (the shadow on the RH wall is fabulous) but for me the colours are really over-powering. I appreciate that colour is a personal taste thing but in this case the lines and tones are strong enough to make a decent mono image. I'll upload a mod to show what I mean but for me this is a good composition spoilt by over-saturated colours.

Just my opinion but hope it helps to give you some food for thought.

Regards
Dave

Thanks for the critique, Dave. I think perhaps I might oversaturate my pics, it's certainly something to consider. The town is very bright in reality as it has been renovated recently, and almost overdone in my view.

The composition is very good. The right hand side of the image is particularly striking as is the view towards the windows of the building at the end. I think the figures also help add interest.
The light and exposure levels are spot on but like fatherpie I think the colour looks oversaturated.

really it is looking like a painting and it is all about color and composition. in spite of the high dynamic range of the scene you have captured this image beautifully. the harsh light here added tint to the colors but it would have been better if you had taken the image at slightly low light condition or you had underexposed the image slightly.
the vertical line of the image is not right and you could have corrected it before uploading.

the title and the color of the image motivates me to give an water color paint effect to this image. i have uploaded a modification here and given that effect. if you can do it you can play with it. if you want to know about that effect, you can ask me i will give you explanation.

Hope you like it,
somnath

I just love this for the colour, comp and those drain pipes, and for the existance of the people. I do not think that it needs modification or correction. It's a great photo!

Nezih
