Just had a fabulous weekend with good friends Chris Miles, Angie & Dougie Latham, Mark Scholey & Lindsey, Simon Lupton and, of course.......The Rug!

Yesterday we started the day easy and headed off the the Lake District late morning, chasing some fabulous light all the way up to Wastwater. This image was taken soon after tea at the Wasdale Head Inn, and after we had to (im)patiently wait for the rain showers to subside. Our patience was rewarded with some lovely splashes of light over on Scafell and the screes..

Again a great shot but not sure about the thick black border in the thumbnail. Disguised in the actual image as you have chosen a bleack bg and looks much better with just the white stroke border.

Deserving of all the accolades though
