Just back from a ski-ing holiday in Cervinia so thought I'd share a snapshot with you. As we got off one of the higher chair lifts I spotted these keen souls trudging up Mont Cervinia for some serious off piste ski-ing (looks like hard work to me but looking at the tracks they were not the first). Their size clearly gives some scale to the Matterhorn as we all know it, it was news to me but the Italians refer to it as Mt Cervinia, maybe the Matterhorn is behind it ![]()
A mono holiday snap is probably lead balloon material on here but here goes.

Now that is a peak and a half.
Would love a wee shot at climbing it.
Shame that a great b'n'w like this is not getting more attention.
Scotty
Thanks guys. I'm not a climber Scotty but I did think to myself it would be a great achievement to reach the summit.
Darren.

You deserve a vote just for being there Darren!
Amazing shot, and those tiny figures really give it a sense of scale ![]()
