Two images from last evening in Pollok Country Park Demonstration Garden, captured in dull even lighting and with a fine mizzle in the air.

V 1: Single lily and buds.
V 2: A bigger picture with both annual and herbaceous borders.

My grateful thanks to all who commented on Calm Anchorage.

Ronnie.

What a treasure trove that park is for you Ronnie - two beautiful images
from these well tended borders and beds. Excellent images for a drizzly night.

Two fine shots Ronnie. I have found that the lack of strong sunshine can sometimes intensify the colours of flowers as in here.

Very verdant, Ronnie... rain has its uses. Lovely rich colours in v1 and the shoot bottom right balances the composition nicely.

So neat and tidy at the PCP, colourful too, and V1 is a great close-up of the beautiful white lily.
I hope they don't grow recreational dissociative drugs thereTongue!

Wonderful tones of the white lily in V1 Ronnie. Glasgow may be a large city but you are so lucky to have so many beautiful parks and gardens.
