An incredibly beautiful image of what can only bed described as 'God's Country' Chris.

Another great composition from here Chris. I prefer the slightly darker V2 but on my monitor the foreground is perhaps a touch too saturated.

I prefer V2 too. nothing inherently wrong with V1, but put the two side by side...
V1 is probably more as your eye saw it, V2 has the added drama to how you felt. Something like that Smile

GEA well deserved Chris! I like V1 as it is but as you added V2, that's the one for me, just like the extra punch! The view/image is stunning Smile

It's a great comp from the interesting frosted boulder to the depth of the vally curving away to the colour in the sky. I think V1 looks much more natural than the volcanic V2 which is a tad jarring to my eye although it has more contrasty impact. Perhaps V1 could stand being pushed half way to V2 for an image that still looks natural but has a bit more bite?

I missed this one yesterday Chris. I prefer the punchy v2 reflecting the excellent light and cloud on the day, it's not called the glorious 12th for nothing !. Smile
Have you got any more ?
