Our grey squirrels like to raid the bird ground feeder particularly if I've included some peanuts in the offering. This one (with a remarkable amount of reddish colour) kept grabbing a nut and then jumping up to perch on the corner of my birdbath to enjoy its treat. So long lens through the study window gave me a chance!

Mike

Good portrait of this plump looking rascal. I think he raids other bird feeders as well. TG

Wondered how you caught him.
When any come into our garden they scamper as soon
as I can say "camera"!.
you're just encouraging them with those nuts!

Awww.

Good capture, Mike, but it must've been sooo good to just sit there and observe things. Lucky you Smile
