This is one of my favourites out of a session playing around on a pebble beach in the sun with my D70 and Sigma 70-200 F2.8

The water was coming in and foaming a lot over the pebbles, so i just sat there snapping away, enjoying the sun and the subject in front of me.

Like this one because i've managed to capture the water bouncing up off the pebble and over the top. Taken wide-open F2.8 at 200mm so i could isolate the centre pebble and give a very shallow DOF.
Tweaked in PS to give it a bit of a boost.

Any comments welcome.

Cheers
Gavin

Dan,

Thanks to the length of the lens i was sat about 3m back from the edge of the waves.

Though 10mins later, luckily after i'd packed my gear away, i did get side-swiped by a nice big wave which got me drenched through. Sad

Still, all good fun.

Cheers for all the comments people.

Gavin
